Sorbet growling when I touch her back legs

A dog that bites only when touched in one area is often hurt there. Give her time, don't let people touch that spot, and ask the vet about pain medicine. Gentle massage may help but only if the vet says ok.

In my experience a dog who used to be gentle and now bites is in pain most of the time. A vet check is very important. Please do not wait for the next bite to happen, it is better to find the cause early.

Sounds like arthritis kicking in. My Pom got it at about 6. Ask the vet about joint supplements and maybe a ramp or steps for the bed. Keeping her weight down makes a big difference.

Vet first, you dont need to wait. Its maybe disk problem in the back. I had a Poodle with the same thing, we used a ramp and stopped jumping on sofa. Dont carry her by the middle either. Good luck.

Sounds like pain to me. My cat did the same thing when her back hurt. Please check with a vet soon, they can look at the hips and back with an x-ray. Don't push her to walk on the stairs while you wait.

Schnauzers can get back trouble and pancreatitis, so it's worth a vet look. Also check her teeth and ears, pain in the mouth can make a dog snap too.

Late to this but my Corgi was the same. Turned out to be back pain. Ask the vet about pain meds and maybe a back support harness. Don't lift her by the middle.
