Mochi has been under the bed since 4pm. It's not even proper Songkran yet, just some kids on the soi with a box of cheap fireworks from the 7-Eleven, and he's already shaking like a leaf.

Mochi is 8 and a true Shiba. He hates the rain, hates the vacuum and thinks my flat is his. We go for slow walks around the Bang Bo canal in the evening. He is the best housemate I ever had.
