Bonnie week 6 training update

Quick update on Bonnie. He is about 8 months now, and honestly the first few weeks were rough. He kept biting my socks and dragging the bin across the kitchen. Momo, our older poodle, put up with it for a while and then just walked off to the bedroom every time. We've been doing short sessions every morning before work, around 10 minutes, mostly sit, down and recall. Treats for everything. He is getting much better at recall in the park by our place in Samut Prakan, though he still gets distracted by the other dogs and the little street cats. The biggest win this week: he waited at the door without bolting when I opened it. Took about 40 tries. I was so proud I told my partner the whole story twice. Still working on the barking when the delivery guys come. Sometimes he's great, sometimes he goes full alarm. I'm told that's normal for a puppy with a big personality, but I'd love to hear what worked for other owners. Anyway, progress is progress. Momo is less impressed, but he's learning to tolerate him.
