Caring for our tiny grandma dog Gucci

Gucci is only 2.7 years old, a Chihuahua with a very dramatic personality, and she has decided she is a retired lady. She naps in the same chair every afternoon, refuses stairs, and wants a heated blanket on the sofa at all times, even in Pak Kret's heat. So we adjusted. The sofa has a little ramp now, her food bowl sits on the counter so she doesn't have to bend, and I bought a small coat for the evenings when the air con is on full. Our vet says small dogs can get stiff early, so we keep walks gentle and short. She pretends she doesn't need any help at all, then sighs loudly every time I carry her up to bed. I'm not complaining. She's my favorite old lady.
