condo search with a siamese, lessons

We moved to a new condo in Yannawa last month and the Rain part was harder than the move itself. Rain is a 7 year old Siamese and very vocal, so I wanted to know if the building is ok with cats before signing anything. What I asked the juristic office: is a cat allowed, is there a limit per unit, do they check the pet registration at the lobby, and is the balcony area shared or private. The answer for the balcony was not clear at first, they said shared, so we ask the owner to write it in the contract. Also check the noise rule, Rain yells at night when the neighbors dog barks. That is something the juristic office cannot solve but they can tell you the rules. We got lucky with this condo but I think about all the people who sign first and ask later. Read the rules before you pay the deposit.
