training update

Bambi learned sit and stay last month, now we work on come when called in the park. She is 5.7 years old, a mix, and very food motivated. The trick is chicken jerky, but only small piece because she get fat easily. The problem is she still run after other dogs during the walk. Every time she see another dog she pull the leash and I almost fall down. My trainer say this is normal for her age, we need to do the look at me game first, then walk past the dog from far. We practice in the condo garden at 6 pm. The security uncle watch us and clap every time Bambi do the sit. Very cute. Last weekend she do well at the dog park in Phra Khanong, she come back to me 4 out of 5 times. Ok not perfect but I am proud. Next goal is the sit at the traffic light, which is harder than it sounds.
