Toffee used to drag me down the soi every morning like she was the one walking me.
What finally worked was stopping every time the leash got tight. We stand still, wait until she looks back at me, then walk again. Took about three weeks around Nimman with all the scooters and people, which is not easy. Treats only when the leash is loose.
I also switched to a front clip harness. The normal collar was hurting her neck when she lunged at dogs near the night market.

I agree about the front clip. We are no pet but my mom dog pulls the same way, so I bought one for her and it made a big difference.

@Bee 我家也是拉绳子的，停下来等它回头这个办法真的有用，我们也用了两个星期。

Did you use treats when she looked back at you? I am going to try this with my cat Rain, do cats learn it too?
