Lulu turned five

Lulu turned five on Saturday and we had a small party on the terrace in Pranburi. Cleo was not invited at first but she came anyway and sat on the cake table like she owned the place. Lulu wore a little hat I found in the market, which she hated for about thirty seconds and then accepted, as she does with most things she dislikes. We made a tuna cake for her, with no salt and no sauce. It was not a real cake but the cat did not care, she ate the whole top before anyone could take a photo. Tell me that is not a cat with good priorities. We invited the old lady from the next house and her grandson, who brought a ball of string and spent the whole afternoon chasing Lulu around the plants. Lulu enjoyed it very much, I think. She came back to me about every ten minutes to check that everyone was still watching her. Vain, this one. The weather was perfect, not too hot after 4pm. We were all tired by sunset and the cats went to sleep on the sofa in a pile. Birthday done.
