Grandma's Garden.BKK is a relaxed lifestyle café in a renovated white house that once belonged to the owners' grandparents. The atmosphere is homely and calm, with wooden tables and a minimalist layout.
The menu covers homemade beef and pork burgers, daily home-cooked specials, medium and dark-roast coffee, iced Thai espresso, matcha, fruit soda drinks, homemade cakes such as lemon and bael fruit, and craft ice creams. Weekend craft workshops are sometimes held.
The main draw for dogs is the spacious natural grass lawn under large shade trees, with movable camping chairs, mats and outdoor fans. The venue has no specialised dog facilities such as a pool, grooming or agility course.
The café is on Soi Kanchanaphisek in Bang Khae Nuea, Bang Khae District, Bangkok, along the canal in the same lane as the Social Security Office Area 6.
The nearest MRT station is Lak Song on the Blue Line, followed by a short taxi or motorbike ride of about 5 to 10 minutes. Dedicated car parking is available opposite the café entrance.
