Lay & Lu is a minimalist home café and brunch spot in Punnawithi, Bangkok. Dogs are welcome on a leash indoors and in the small front garden, and resident golden retriever Luther greets guests.

Dogs are allowed inside the air-conditioned dining area and on the shaded front garden and outdoor patio. Dogs should be kept on a leash or in a pet stroller or carrier, and must not be left unattended. Owners are advised to bring pee pads and cleaning wipes.
There is no pet entry fee and no breed or weight restriction is noted. Water bowls are available on request. The café has a resident golden retriever named Luther, and visitors can bring their own dogs and cats. There is no dog or cat menu.
Please follow the rules, be polite and considerate, and do not leave pets unattended unless you have agreed this in advance with the staff.
Lay & Lu is a warm, Kinfolk-style home café with white walls, light wood, marble tables and natural skylights. The menu is homemade, with all-day breakfast plates, pasta, smoothie bowls, salads, Thai one-plate rice dishes and bakery items such as carrot cake, garlic cream cheese bread and chicken curry puffs.
Drinks include espresso-based coffees, yuzu coffee, matcha lattes and fruit smoothies.
It suits dog owners who want a relaxed brunch with their pet. It is a regular café that is pet-friendly, not a dedicated dog café.
The café is at 22/4 Ban Suan Maha Wong Soi 4, a dead-end soi off Sukhumvit 64 near the True Digital Park 101 area in Punnawithi.
The nearest transit is BTS Punnawithi or BTS Bang Chak. Motorcycle taxis wait at the soi entrance on the BTS side. Parking is limited, both in front of the café and on the street in the soi.
