Lost in Songwat is a heritage cafe and bar in a restored 150-year-old Chinese shophouse, with weathered brick, wooden beams, a stone spiral staircase and a banyan tree growing through its walls. The space has a vintage style, with an air-conditioned indoor room, a courtyard and photo spots.
The menu covers specialty espresso drinks such as americano, latte and nitro cold brew yuzu, Thai tea, cocoa, sodas, craft beers, cakes and light bites such as burgers. Live acoustic music plays on Friday and Saturday evenings. It suits a calm, shaded stop for owners who want to sit with their dog.
The cafe is in an alley off Song Wat Road, in Soi Ban Ya Waat, beside the Masjid Luang Kocha Itsahak mosque and next to the Gu Long Bao bun shop. Follow the Lost in Songwat signs along the alley.
The nearest station is MRT Blue Line Wat Mangkon, exit 1, about 500 metres (7 to 10 minutes) away on foot, or a short motorcycle taxi ride. There is no parking on site; paid car parks nearby on Song Wat Road include Chang Car Park, Pla Mangkon Car Park and the Peiing School lot.
