Description
glamp./cafe is a lifestyle café with a Japanese minimalist look and a camping-style charm, tucked behind a hidden entrance in Chiang Dao. Its wide grass meadow faces Doi Luang Chiang Dao, and morning mist often drifts across the lawn.
The menu covers specialty coffee, matcha drinks such as matcha latte and ube matcha, fruit refreshers, cakes and light savoury dishes. Indoor air-conditioned seating and outdoor lawn seating are both available, and the place suits relaxed visits. Campervan-style accommodation and an overnight camping area are also on site.
Getting there
The café is in Chiang Dao, about 75 km north of Chiang Mai city. Take Highway 107 (Chiang Mai to Fang road) into Chiang Dao, then follow the route toward Ban Yang Pu To, via Soi Wat Pa Daeng. The last stretch includes unpaved road, so take care with low-clearance cars.
There is no BTS or MRT in the area, so visitors usually come by private car or motorbike. A gravel parking area is in front of the café.
