BUCOLIC Khaoyai is a Nordic-style countryside café with a small mini zoo in Mu Si, near Khao Yai National Park. Leashed dogs are welcome both indoors in the glasshouse and outside in the gardens.

Price range: Typically about THB 100-250 per person. Entry is THB 50 per person and can be redeemed against food or drinks. Mini zoo feed baskets cost about THB 20-60.

Leashed dogs are allowed inside the air-conditioned glasshouse and in the garden grounds. Pets must be on a leash, in a carrier or in a stroller at all times, and owners must keep them under control. Dogs may not enter the petting zoo pens, which are kept for the resident farm animals.

There is no dog or pet menu, no specific size or weight limit and no pet fee. Visitors can bring their own pets, and drinking water is available on request. There are no dog runs, agility courses or grooming services.

Please follow the rules, be polite and considerate, and do not leave pets unattended unless you have agreed this in advance with the staff.

Description

BUCOLIC Khaoyai is a Nordic-inspired countryside café built around a working mini zoo. Its minimalist glasshouse has panoramic mountain and lake views, and the garden has open lawns, wooden walkways, a scenic pond and a skateboard ramp for children.

The menu includes specialty coffee, matcha, Twinings teas, smoothies, fresh bakery such as croissants, cheese rolls and cheesecake, and savoury dishes like pizza, pasta and fish and chips. Visitors can buy feed for the farm animals, which include sheep, rabbits, tortoises, ducks and chickens.

It suits a slower, longer visit with children, friends or a dog, rather than a quick coffee stop. It is not a dog-only venue, and the petting zoo pens are not open to visiting dogs.

Getting there

BUCOLIC Khaoyai is in Tambon Mu Si, Pak Chong, on Rural Road NMA.3052, reached via Thanarat Road (Route 2090). It is about 10 to 15 minutes' drive north of the Khao Yai National Park entrance gate.

There are no BTS or MRT stations in the province, so the café is reached by private car, chartered van or taxi from Pak Chong town. A dedicated on-site parking lot is provided.
