Description
Ok Corral Khao Yai (โอเค คอร์รัล เขาใหญ่) is a Western-style horse ranch, riding school and guided trail-ride operator in the countryside of Mu Si, Pak Chong. Equine activities are its core business, and it focuses exclusively on Western riding. It does not offer English dressage, show jumping or polo.
Lessons suit complete beginners, children from about four years old and adults. Most bookings start with a 30 to 40 minute fundamental lesson in the arena covering mounting, reins, steering, stopping and balance, before heading out. Trail rides wind through pastures, dirt roads, open meadows and farmland, including seasonal sunflower fields, with mountain views. They last between 20 minutes and 2 hours. Pony and lead-rein rides are available for younger children or cautious riders.
Other services include full livery boarding, horse training, and private horse import and shipping coordination from the USA. The ranch hosts periodic cowboy gatherings and sells or pre-orders Western goods such as cowboy hats, Cody James leather boots and Western apparel. Facilities include an enclosed sand corral or covered arena, natural off-road trails, an on-site coffee and dessert spot called June's Khaoyai, and parking. There is no accommodation on site, but resorts and glamping sites are nearby.
