first grooming for old Bambi

Bambi turned 8 in the summer and I finally decided to take her to a proper groomer. She has been looking like a wet mop for two years because I kept putting it off. Honestly the condo juristic office was getting tired of the fur in the lift. I booked a morning slot so she would not be stressed by the heat. We walked there from the soi, which took maybe ten minutes, and she kept stopping to sniff every single lamp post. I was so embarrassed but the people at the shop just laughed and said she is a character. When I picked her up she looked totally different. Smaller, lighter, and very proud of herself. The groomer had put a tiny bow on one ear and she kept shaking her head to feel it. I thought she would hate it but she was walking like a little queen. The bad part was she slept for almost the whole afternoon and then woke up at 3am and wanted to play. Dogs are so unfair like that. I did not sleep much but I did enjoy seeing her happy. The groomer said to do a brush at home twice a week because her coat is curly and tangles fast in the rainy season. So I bought a slicker brush from Lazada and I am trying. She does not like it much, but she lets me do it if I give her a biscuit. So, old lady, new haircut. I will post a photo once she stops giving me that face.
