Kai Tun is teething again at 6

Kai Tun is almost six years old and she has started chewing everything again, like a puppy. Shoes, the remote, the corner of the sofa, my headphones. I did not know a dog could go back to teething at this age but apparently some do. We took her to the vet near Bophut last week for a check. He looked in her mouth and said two of her teeth are loose and there is some tartar building up. Not a disaster, but the vet recommended a dental cleaning under light anesthesia in a few weeks. Since then I have been buying chew toys in every shop I pass. She ignores most of them and goes straight for my flip flops. I have started leaving them by the door like a trap. She is still the funniest dog I have ever met. When she sleeps on her back with all four legs in the air I forget about the shoes entirely.
