  @Tipawan Sakulrat the carpet trick worked for us too, Kao was scared of slippery steps at first. Ask vet about joint supplements too.

  Tip: for old dogs use wide steps or a ramp with grip. An orthopaedic bed helps a lot too, Oscar sleeps much better now.

  For older dogs ask vet about omega-3, my Pla is 11 and it helped her coat and joints. Weight control is the biggest thing though.

  How long did it take Kopi to get used to the ramp? Did he refuse at first? I have old dog too, she only walks on grass now.
