Fluffy is 9 now and the heat is hitting her harder every year. We keep the flat at 26 with the aircon on at night. Dont let her sleep on the balcony tiles, they stay hot even at 9pm.
A frozen water bottle wrapped in a towel is teh best cheap trick. Also she drinks more when the bowl sits in the shade, go figure. Its not fancy but it works. Hope this helps someone.

I think the frozen bottle is ok but a wet towel on the body works better for my cat, the bottle gets cold for like 10 min only. Maybe try a cooling mat instead.
Hope Fluffy gets better and not too sick in heat. My Daifuku got heat stroke once in Pattaya and it was scary. Please check her gums and breathing when it is hot.
Fah is a small pug who would rather nap than walk, but last Saturday we took her to a waterfall near Khao Yai because the weather was cool and the crowds were light. At first she was painful...

@Siriporn the fan thing is so true, our cats sleep in front of the fan too. Fluffy is lucky to have the aircon at night.

ที่บ้านเราก็ทำแบบนี้ค่ะ แต่ของเราต้องวางชามน้ำในที่ร่มด้วย ไม่งั้นน้ำอุ่นหมด น้องคิทแคทกินน้ำน้อยมาก หมอบอกให้เพิ่มอาหารเปียกแทน

I dont think the balcony tile thing is enough. For dogs in apartments we use a mat, and also keep the AC on the bedroom side. Good tips anyway.

I think ice pack in towel is ok but dont put ice directly on her body, my vet said it can cause shock. Cold water is better than ice.

Be careful, my Rambo had a bad day in the heat last summer, he collapsed after the walk. Please check Fluffy after walks, she may need rest.

Put a thin blanket in the cooler room, Baby sleeps better. Dont use the aircon too cold, 26 is fine. Also check the bowl twice a day.
