Fon in Patong hotel

Took Fon to Patong for two nights because we needed a break from the condo. The hotel says pet friendly on the website, and it actually was. Big bowls in the room, a bed by the window, and they left a little toy on the pillow. Only rule: the dog must not go to the pool or the indoor restaurant. I took him to the beach at 6 am, it was empty and he ran in the sand for about 40 minutes until he was done. Then we had breakfast on the balcony. Fon is 1 year old and the energy is crazy. He barked at the pool cleaner for 20 minutes. Honestly I think he is the best travel buddy I've had. If you bring a dog to Patong, get a good crate for car rides. The taxi drivers were not very happy with him at first.
