Lek and our new baby

Our daughter came home last month and Lek has been acting very strange. She sits outside the baby room door every night and she will not go in, even when we open it. My wife says she is guarding. I say she is just nosy. The first week was rough, Lek kept jumping on the crib and we had to move everything. Now she is calmer, she sleeps next to the crib on her blanket and only wakes up when the baby cries, then she runs to the bedroom to tell us. Very good girl. We are learning slowly, I think that's normal for a French Bulldog. They are very attached.
