Got Namkhaeng's blood test back this week and the kidney numbers are higher than last year. Not an emergency, but the vet wants to recheck in 3 months and change his food. He is 7 now and corgis are prone to this stuff apparently, so I should have looked into it earlier.
He is still eating well and his energy is fine. He does his usual zoomies on the beach road in the evening. The vet says more water, less salt, and no more human food at dinner. I have to tell my husband this, which will be fun.
If you have a corgi with kidney issues, please share what food worked for you. Sorry, this post is just a bit of a rant. I am a bit worried and I do not want to bother the vet every week with questions.

Ask the vet about a kidney diet, low phosphorus food. Also a water fountain helps a lot, my dog drinks more with it.
