Onigiri Conquered Her First Waterfall
Onigiri is a poodle with more opinions than energy, so I wasn't sure she'd manage the trail to a waterfall out past Kanchanaburi. My bad. She scrambled over the wet rocks, sniffed every root, and only stopped once to sit on a boulder like she owned the place. I packed extra water, a towel, and a bag of dried chicken, and we took it slow. By the pool at the bottom she waded in up to her belly and refused to leave. The drive home was quiet, mostly because she slept with her wet fur all over my jacket. Next weekend, maybe a shorter trail.

A pair of pet shoes with good grip helped my dog a lot on wet rocks.

Onigiri sitting on a boulder like she owns the place is the funniest thing I've read today. She clearly knows how to make an entrance 😊

I'm definitely going to try this with my dog next time we head out of Bangkok. Onigiri sounds like she had the time of her life sniffing every root. I'll be sure to pack extra water and snacks for the trail. A poodle who acts like she owns the place is my kind of hiking partner.

Onigiri reached the waterfall and Dao the cat still refuses to leave the sofa.

What a lovely story about Onigiri. I love how she takes the trail at her own pace and stops to sit when she wants to. Dogs with that much personality make trips memorable. Momo would probably be jealous she didn't get the boulder throne.

ตอนเดินบนหินเปียกๆ ใส่สายจูงไว้หรือปล่อยให้เดินเองคะ
