Pudding's morning routine

Every morning at 6 Pudding sits on the balcony railing and watches the lizards on the wall of the soi. I try to tell her they are not for eating, she does not care. She has been doing it since the day we moved to Cherng Talay. After breakfast she runs to the bathroom and waits by the door. I know what she wants, she wants me to turn on the tap so she can drink from the running water. Fresh water in the bowl is not good enough for her, she is a princess. At noon she sleeps in the cardboard box I keep under the table. I did not buy her a bed, she prefers the box and the air con. I think it is the best furniture in the flat. In the evening she comes to sit on my laptop when I work, which is annoying but I cannot stay angry with her. She makes a small chirping sound, like she is saying hello to the screen. Ok that's our routine. It is simple, but I like it. Pudding is nineteen months old and already runs the whole apartment.
