Hermes first beach trip!!

Hermes never went to the beach before. This year we go to Hua Hin with my family for the weekend, and I am so excited because I think he will love it. But when we arrive, he stays in the car and refuses to come out. My mom says he is so spoiled and I agree lol. In the morning we walk down to the sand near the pier, very early before many people come. He is not scared of sand, only of the water. Every time a small wave comes he jumps back and makes me laugh so much. He sits and looks at the sea for like ten minutes, I think he is thinking deep thoughts. Maybe about his favorite snack. My dad brings a big towel and puts it under the umbrella, and Hermes lies on it and sleeps. Corgis are not built for hot sun so we keep moving the umbrella every hour. He is 4.9 years old and still acts like a puppy when he sees other dogs. He ran to a golden retriever and then ran back to me very fast, like he forgot something. At lunch we ate som tam and grilled chicken from the stall by the road, and Hermes sat next to me and waited for the chicken skin. I said no but I gave him a little bit. Don't tell the vet lol. Next time we will bring his own snack. On the way home he slept in the back seat with his head on my bag. I took a picture and it looks so cute. I think we will go to the beach again next month if the weather is still good. He already knows the word beach now, when I say it his ears go up. Thank you for reading my long story.
