Pepper insurance (cat)

I signed up for pet insurance for Pepper last month. She is a mixed cat, seven and a half years old, and the sales agent kept saying cats are very expensive to treat. I think he was right. Her last check up in Bang Rak cost me 3500 baht only for blood test and the vaccination. The policy I choose cover accident and illness but not dental, so I need to read again before she has problem with teeth, she bite on the bowl sometimes. Monthly premium is 480 baht, not cheap for a cat. My friend say insurance is not worth it, I just save the money for emergency. Maybe he is right too. I will see after 1 year.
