Snoopy is chubby and nobody warned me
Snoopy is only 5 months old and already I think she is too fat. I give her food from the bag the breeder recommended, but she also get my leftover rice when I am not looking, and my wife gives her chicken skin from the market. I know. We are both guilty.
At the vet in Wang Thonglang, the doctor pinched her side and said she is above the normal line and we need to cut the treats. The vet nurse showed me a chart with body shape pictures. Snoopy looked like the big one. I was embarrassed.
So now we have a new routine. Measured food, two walks a day, no food at dinner time. I bought a puzzle feeder on Shopee for 250 baht and she spends 15 minutes working out how to get the kibble out. That part is good, she is clever, but she still stares at the table the whole time we eat. I can not handle that look.
The weight goal is to take off 800 grams in the next two months. I have a little notebook where I write her weight every Sunday. Last week she was down 100 grams and I was very happy, more than I expected to be.
If anyone has a trick for dogs who beg at the dinner table, tell me. My wife says the trick is to stop being nice, which is probably right.

Snoopy is so cute, 5 months old and already a little round lol. My Toffee was like that too, cut the treats and she got better.

my Butter got very fat after neuter, i didnt know he need less food. now i give him half and walk more. hope Snoopy is ok

ผมคิดว่าให้เศษอาหารคนนิดๆ หน่อยๆ ไม่เป็นไรครับ ถ้าทำในปริมาณน้อย แต่ต้องลดอาหารเม็ดด้วย
