what to do if pet go missing (almost lost Chibi last week)

Chibi is only 2 months old and she is very fast. Last week she go out through the gate when the delivery guy open it, we did not see her for 3 hour. I panic so much, my hand was shaking when I call my husband. He is at work in Phuket Town and I am alone with Pika who just keep sniffing the gate. What we do first. We put her photo on the lost pet group on facebook and also post in the LINE group of our soi. Very important, we tell the security guard at the condo and the 7-eleven near by because the staff there watch the road all day. Then we walk around with treats and her old blanket. Do not call the dog too loud, she run more when she is scared. We just squat down and shake the treat bag. Pika was useful, she bark at the gate where Chibi was hiding under a parked car. Chibi was found by a motorbike guy near the market. He was very kind and bring her to our house. She had no collar, we are so stupid we did not put tag on her. Now she has microchip and tag with phone number on it. Please do this today, not tomorrow. Also check your photo is recent. My first photo was from the week we got her and people said she look different now.
