อยากรับหมาแก่มาเป็นเพื่อนซูส กลัวซูสเครียดไหมนะ

ซูสอายุ 10 กว่าปีแล้วค่ะ อยู่ด้วยกันมานานตั้งแต่เด็ก ตอนนี้เริ่มเดินช้าและขาหลังไม่ค่อยแข็งแรง แต่เราอยากรับหมาแก่จากศูนย์พักพิงมาเลี้ยงเป็นเพื่อนเขาด้วย กลัวว่าซูสจะเครียดหรือหงุดหงิดไหมคะ

   Introducing a new older dog is usually fine if you do it slowly. Meet on neutral ground first with a walk together, then short visits at home. Keep food bowls and beds separate at first. Zeus is 10 so he may not want a lot of play, senior dogs are often calmer than puppies, which can help. Watch for growling over food or toys and separate them if it happens. Good that you're thinking about it first.

   ตอนนี้ยังไม่ต้องรีบครับ ลองไปคุยกับหมอเรื่องขาซูสก่อน แล้วค่อยให้ซูสได้ปรับตัวทีละนิดก่อนจะเอาตัวใหม่มา

   อยากให้ดูเรื่องขาซูสก่อนค่ะ ถ้ารับหมาใหม่มา ต้องพาเดินวันละสองรอบพอ ไม่ต้องไกลมาก เพราะซูสอาจจะเจ็บถ้าเดินเยอะ

   ตอนผมรับหมาแก่มาอยู่กับหมาอีกตัวก็เป็นแบบนี้เหมือนกัน แรกๆ มันไม่ค่อยสนใจกันแต่ตอนนี้เล่นกันแล้ว ลองให้น้องสองตัวนอนด้วยกันบ้างทิ้งไว้ก่อนดูค่ะ ปกติดีนะ เค้าก็โอเค
