Kiwi is 6 now and my wife works from home so she is never alone, but I work late 3 days a week and she sits by the door waiting. I looked at shelters around Saphan Sung and most of them want a home visit first. Is it better to adopt an older dog or a puppy when you already have an older dog at home?

Old dog plus new dog, rule of thumb is a calm adult (1-3 yrs) usually best. A puppy will wear Kiwi out and they play too rough for an older dog. Do the home visit, it's normal, they are checking you will care. Ask about the dog's background, how he reacted with other dogs, cats, kids. Dont pick the cutest one, pick the one that fits Kiwi.
