Can dog eat durian? friend say ok but I think no

My friend's dog ate durian yesterday as a treat, and now he is very very sleepy and vomit one time. My friend say durian is ok for dog because it is fruit. I look after him on weekends so I want to know if dog can eat durian or not. I want to give him some next week if it is ok. Thank you.

   Durian is not good for dog!! High sugar and fat, can make vomit and diarrhea. Some dog ok a little but not recommended. Avoid seed also because can block the stomach. If the friend dog is very sleepy please take to vet, dont wait. My dog had a bad stomach from too many treats the first time so be careful lol.

   Agree with above. For treats, apple without seeds or a small piece of banana is safer. Dog food from the shop is still best though.

   Thai Ridgeback here, mine also loves fruit, but I give only little pieces of papaya and watermelon. Never durian. If the sleepiness continues, go to the clinic early.
