rice + chicken for a 2 month puppy?

Yuzu is only 2 months and I'm trying to switch him off puppy food. The shop lady in Sattahip said rice with boiled chicken is fine but my neighbour said no rice for dogs. What do you feed yours?

   Dogs can have rice fine, but I'd skip onions and garlic in any seasoning, those are toxic. At 2-3 months puppy formula is important for growth so keep that as the main food. Ask your vet for a plan, mine has been great. My cats are not interested in rice lol.

   Rice is fine for dog, my Golden eat rice with chicken everyday. But for puppy better buy puppy food, rice only for mixing. Dont put salt or seasoning ok. Ask vet about how much, not too much.

   Boiled chicken with plain rice is common in India too and most dogs are fine with it. Watch the poop for a couple days when you change food. If it gets loose, go back to the old food a bit and go slower.
