Kao Kao farting + not eating new food??

Question

Kao Kao been on the new brand kibble for 2 weeks and now she has bad gas and soft poop. She still eats but less. Should I go back to the old food or just wait? Her belly looks kinda bloated sometimes.

Change food slowly over 7 to 10 days, mix a bit more new food each day. Two weeks should be fine already, so if it's still bad, go back to the old food and call your vet. Pugs get gas easily when they eat too fast. Maybe try a slow feeder bowl.

my cat had same issue with new food, he was fine after a week of plain food. dont switch everything at once. also check if the bag is grain free, some dogs cant handle the change

Pug tummies are sensitive. Take away the new food and give boiled chicken and rice for a few days, then change slowly again. Also ask your vet if a stool test might help.

If she still eat normal its probably the new food ya. Try mix old food back for few days. But if her belly is hard or she not eat at all, go vet quick, dont wait.

The bloating I would take seriously. I had a shiba with the same thing and it was a gas blockage, we almost lost him. Better to see the vet this week, not wait.
