Latte Still Hides During Thunder, But Less Each Time

Whenever the rainy season comes, Latte hides under the bed. Even a small rumble of thunder makes her flinch and flatten her ears. On New Year's Eve, fireworks went off near our Phra Ram 7 condo, and she barely came out of the wardrobe all night.

What has helped is playing soft music, closing the curtains, and placing a blanket that smells like us beside her. On stormy days I just sit with her. I don't do much. I just keep her company quietly.

Now she's brave enough to sit by the window again, though she still walks away when the lightning flashes close by.
