Description
Polo Escape is a private polo club, equestrian estate and nature resort on an 80-acre countryside property in Huai Yai, Chonburi. It was founded in 2007 by sisters Robin and Susy Lourvanij, and its core focus is polo training, horse breeding and riding, with farm-style villas for guests.
Polo offerings include stick-and-ball practice, chukkas and beginner polo packages, plus multi-day clinics led by Argentine and international professionals. Riding lessons, estate trail rides and hand-led pony rides for young children and beginners are also available. It does not focus on traditional competitive dressage or show jumping. Horses include Argentine polo ponies and quiet school horses, and the club hosts low- to medium-goal polo tournaments and cups from about October or November through April.
The estate has a full-size grass polo field and practice fields, stables, private riding trails through casuarina and rubber-tree groves, and a restaurant, café and bar serving home-style meals and Argentine asado. A 25-metre infinity pool overlooks the polo field. Guests can stay in 25 rustic villas and lodge rooms, and there is a floodlit tennis court, a gym and free parking.
Dogs and pets are welcome on request, and there are pet-friendly villas. Polo lessons should be booked in advance, as polo activities depend on seasonal field conditions.
