The Zeit River Kwai is a reasonably priced modern riverside hotel on the Kwai Yai River in Kanchanaburi, near the famous bridge. Dogs and cats stay in designated pet-friendly rooms, up to two per room.

Dogs and cats are welcome at The Zeit River Kwai, up to two pets per room, in designated pet-friendly room types such as the Pet-Friendly Superior Twin or Superior Double.
The pet fee is THB 500 per pet per night, and a refundable deposit of THB 2,000 per stay is returned after a room inspection at checkout. Service animals are exempt from the pet fee. There is no published weight limit, but contact the hotel in advance if you have a larger breed.
The large lawns and garden paths are good for exercising dogs on a leash. Pets may join you on the outdoor café terrace if they stay in a stroller, carrier or on a leash. Several cats live on the grounds, so keep dogs leashed.
Please follow the rules, be polite and considerate, and do not leave pets unattended unless you have agreed this in advance with the staff.
The Zeit River Kwai is a modern boutique riverside resort with clean white-and-grey minimalist architecture, laid out to face the Kwai Yai River and its central gardens and lawns.
Most rooms are Superior King or Twin, with modern furniture, air conditioning, a private balcony with river or pool views, a flat-screen cable TV, refrigerator and free Wi-Fi.
Facilities include a riverside outdoor pool with a children's section and sun loungers, and meeting and banquet spaces. The poolside Davenport Cafe serves Thai food, coffee and daily breakfast.
The hotel is on the main riverside tourist strip, with massage shops, riverside cafés and local restaurants within easy walking or driving distance.

The hotel is on Soi Kampucha off Mae Nam Khwae Road, Ban Tai, Mueang Kanchanaburi.
By car from Bangkok, drive west on Route 4 (Phetkasem Road) and Route 323 to Kanchanaburi, about 120–130 km or 2–2.5 hours. In town, follow signs for the River Kwai Bridge and Mae Nam Khwae Road to Soi Kampucha. Free on-site parking is available.
By train, take the State Railway from Bangkok's Thonburi Station to Saphan Kwae Yai Station (River Kwai Bridge, about 1 km away) or Kanchanaburi Station (about 2.6 km), then a short taxi, songthaew or Grab ride.
By bus or minivan, travel from Bangkok's Southern Bus Terminal or Mo Chit to Kanchanaburi Bus Terminal, about 3 km from the hotel, and finish by taxi or Grab.
