Kungnam Resort is a reasonably priced riverside resort of standalone teak villas on more than 20 rai in Sarika, Nakhon Nayok. Dogs of all sizes stay free, up to six per villa, with a small refundable deposit.

Dogs and cats are welcome, and large breeds are fully permitted. There is no weight or breed restriction.

There is no nightly pet fee. A refundable damage deposit of THB 500 is taken at check-in and returned at check-out if nothing is damaged. Up to 6 pets are allowed per room or villa.

Pets may stay inside the villas with their owners; guests are advised to bring their own pet beds, leashes and pee pads. The large gardens and lawns are good for walks, and dogs may swim from the river pier under their owner's supervision.

Description

Kungnam Resort (คุ้งน้ำ รีสอร์ท) is a private, nature-oriented resort on the bank of the Nakhon Nayok River, where mountain water flows all year. It covers more than 20 rai of mature trees with mountain views.

Accommodation is in standalone teak wood houses (เรือนไม้สัก) that give guests privacy. They range from villas for two to family houses and large group villas for up to 16 guests. Houses have private balconies, air conditioning and daily housekeeping.

Guests can use outdoor barbecue equipment, and shared banquet and seminar spaces include the Bua Luang hall, which holds 80–100 people. The resort suits solo travellers, couples, families and groups.

The resort has a quiet, forested, rural riverside setting with mountains around and natural swimming spots in the river.

Getting there

The resort is at 20/1 Moo 6, Sarika, Mueang Nakhon Nayok. From Nakhon Nayok town, take Highway 3049 (the Nang Rong Waterfall route). At about kilometre 7, turn right at the traffic intersection towards Ban Khiriwan and go straight for about 2 km.

Before reaching Wat Khao Nang Buat, turn right onto Chaloem Phra Kiat Road and continue about 2 km to the Kungnam Resort entrance sign. Turn left and drive another 1 km to the resort. Free private parking is available on site.
