Dogs are welcome for a fee of about THB 200 per dog per night or stay; confirm which with the resort. No separate deposit is listed, but guests are responsible for any damage.

Small and medium-sized dogs are readily accepted. If you plan to bring a large dog, call and confirm in advance. No maximum number of pets is published; rooms are arranged according to cottage capacity.

Pets stay in the standard bungalows with their owners. Pet beds and linens are not provided, so bring your own bedding and supplies. Dogs can be walked on a leash along the riverbank and garden banks and can enter the water.

Description

Pensri Resort (เพ็ญศรี รีสอร์ท & แก่งเทียมนครนายก) is a rustic, nature-oriented getaway on the Kaeng Thiam waterway, working both as a holiday-home rental and a waterside recreation base.

Accommodation is in freestanding air-conditioned bungalows surrounded by greenery. Bamboo pavilions and seating platforms line the riverbank, where guests can relax, eat or enjoy Thai moo kata barbecue by the water.

The resort is known as an activity base: guests can go inflatable-boat rafting downstream, take boat trips and swim in the shallow rapids. Free on-site parking is available for overnight guests and day visitors.

The resort sits in a green valley along the Nakhon Nayok River, with mountain backdrops, orchards, campgrounds and local riverside eateries.

Getting there

The resort is at 47/2 Moo 3, Tambon Hin Tung, Mueang Nakhon Nayok. By car from Bangkok, take Route 305 (Rangsit–Nakhon Nayok Road) or Route 33 into Nakhon Nayok city. From the centre, follow Route 3049 towards Khun Dan Prakarn Chon Dam and Nang Rong Waterfall, then turn towards the Kaeng Thiam riverfront in Hin Tung. The drive from Bangkok takes about 1.5–2 hours.

By public transport, take a passenger van or bus from Mo Chit 2 or Rangsit to the Nakhon Nayok bus terminal, then a local songthaew or charter taxi towards Hin Tung and Khun Dan Dam. Free on-site parking is available.
