Dogs and cats of all breeds are welcome, and pets may stay inside guest rooms and private villas. Several directories and booking sites list the resort as pet friendly, and none lists it as banning pets.
The pet fee is about THB 200 per pet per night for small dogs under 7 kg, and about THB 400–500 per pet per night for dogs over 7 kg. Some directories list a base rate of THB 100 a night, so confirm the exact fee with the resort before check-in. There is no strict size or breed restriction. Larger villa units are said to take up to 5–6 pets by prior arrangement.
Guests are asked to bring their pet's own bedding and keep the rooms clean. The garden and the creek at the back are good for leashed walks.
Please follow the rules, be polite and considerate, and do not leave pets unattended unless you have agreed this in advance with the staff.
Description
Somrudee Resort (สมฤดีรีสอร์ท นครนายก) is an informal, three-star nature resort against the mountain backdrop at the edge of Khao Yai. It has brightly coloured individual bungalows and multi-room villas arranged around green gardens.
A natural stream from Khlong Maduea runs behind the property, so guests can sit by the water or swim in the fresh creek. The resort also has an outdoor swimming pool and barbecue areas.
Seminar and banquet spaces make it suitable for family gatherings and company outings, and the larger group houses sleep big parties.
Neighbourhood
The resort sits in a quiet, forested river valley known for clean air and outdoor adventure, with rafting and ATV camps very close by.
Famous landmarks nearby:
- Wang Takrai National Park and Waterfall (about 1.2 km): a popular waterfall and park.
