The resort is pet friendly, but you must notify the resort and confirm before booking if you plan to bring a pet. Small and medium-sized dogs are standard; large dogs need prior approval covering weight, breed and room choice.
Generally one pet per room is allowed; guests with more than one pet must consult the resort in advance. Fees and deposits depend on pet size and season and are decided by the management, although some guests report no surcharge. Confirm the amount when booking.
Detached villas are preferred for pets over the shared units and dome tents. Pets can exercise on a leash in the garden, on the open lawns and along the riverside paths.
Some booking sites list the property as not allowing pets, so confirm with the resort before booking.
Please follow the rules, be polite and considerate, and do not leave pets unattended unless you have agreed this in advance with the staff.
Description
The Chamuang Forest Resort (เดอะชะมวงฟอเรสต์ แอนด์ นายหัวคาเฟ่ นครนายก) is a modern tropical retreat built in the same development as Nai Hua Cafe and Chan Wang Restaurant. It sits among lush greenery and backs onto a clear natural stream with mountain views.
Accommodation includes contemporary standalone villas with one or two bedrooms, private pool villas, and The Chamuang Dome, air-conditioned dome tents with private decks near the water. Standalone villas have a private carport beside or beneath the unit.
On site there is a landscaped 2-rai garden of mature trees called the 100-Year Forest Garden, a 360-degree observation tower with views of the hills, a children's playground and direct access to the stream. Nai Hua Cafe is open daily with air-conditioned and garden seating and a koi pond, and Chan Wang Restaurant serves Thai dishes and local specialities.
