Dogs and cats are welcome. Dogs of any size are accepted if you tell the resort in advance. Fees are about THB 400 per night for a small pet and about THB 500 per night for a large pet.
Pets stay in the designated private cottages. When pets are staying, staff remove the carpets from the cottage floors, and they provide pet food and treats.
Pets can use the garden areas, cottage porches and grounds on a leash. Khao Yai National Park itself does not allow dogs or domestic pets, but Charlee Khao Yai is outside the park, on Highway 3052.
Booking.com lists pets as allowed on request, and charges may apply. Confirm the arrangements with the resort before you book.
Please follow the rules, be polite and considerate, and do not leave pets unattended unless you have agreed this in advance with the staff.
Description
Charlee Khao Yai (ชาร์ลี เขาใหญ่) is a boutique resort of eight standalone knockdown cottage villas, offering high privacy.
The cottages come in three styles: Nordic-style gabled villas in white and wood tones, modern minimalist villas with warm accents and separate sleeping and living zones, and cube-style villas with single or twin beds. Each has air conditioning, a private bathroom and an in-room seating area, and smart TVs that support guests' personal Netflix accounts.
Some cottages have a private open-air bathtub on the terrace, screened by curtains and greenery. The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, an evening barbecue area with mookata (Thai pork skillet) sets and star-gazing lawns. Complimentary breakfast includes Thai rice porridge, pan-fried eggs and toast.
Neighbourhood
The resort is in a green, tranquil valley along Highway 3052 in Mu Si. Mountain backdrops, cool breezes, orchards and boutique cafés characterise the area.
Famous landmarks nearby:
- Khao Yai National Park entrance gate (about 4–5 km): the main gate to the park, which does not allow dogs or domestic pets.
- Nam Phut Natural Spring: a natural spring in the area.
